SUBJECT: IUPUI students dedicate 10 weeks to a recommendation report
Dear Client:
You are invited to express any challenges that you may have about CHIP. A team of IUPUI student consultants is writing a recommendation report that will dedicate about 200 hours of time to a topic of your choice. This project will be of no cost to you and will provide another advocate for CHIP.

How I found out about you
After using CHIP’s website as a partner to write a paper about child homelessness, I found a longing for the dedication and advocacy that takes place at CHIP. I am eager to invite you and the company to be a part of this recommendation report project. There is a lot to learn from CHIP, and I would like to further my knowledge of what you do.

What We Will Be Doing
This team project will take course over the next 10 weeks. The 200 hours dedicated to this project will be condensed into about three or four pages. The project itself will be the exploration and analysis of the topic you choose. You will meet with our team once over Zoom, and that is all. This is a local study of Indianapolis, but there will not be a need to meet with us more than once unless you would like to address more.

What the Project Is
This project is a contest between my classmates. I will pitch my proposal for CHIP during class on February 8th. I will share the standing of the project with you via email. The next part of the project after the pitch is:
-
our 25 classmates will vote for three of their favorite proposals
-
the five finalists will team up with classmates
-
the recommendation reports will be written by the teams
Attached is an example of a recommendation report from 2017 that was done over the Ronald McDonald House.

Next Steps
The final steps are for you to agree to work with us and name a topic. I will email you this Thursday around 3 p.m. to confirm your status on this project if you haven't already contacted me back.

Sincerely,
Brooklyn Robison, IUPUI
